Broadwater, Labrador The Gold Coast.
The rotunda was officially opened by
His Worship the Mayor, Cr Gary Baildon on the
16th of December 2001. |

Santa arrived by reindeer powered
speedboat to the cheers of all the kids, big and small.
Carols were sung and we can't forget
"Doughnut" the Police Dog. |

Ford Timbers, the manufacturers of DPR
the New Generation Hardwood, was pleased to donate all the DPR used in the
construction of the Byth Family Rotunda.
The Byth Family Rotunda is another
Gold Coast City Council community project. |

The Byth family were land owners of
the Labrador area over two generations. They have contributed to the
community through their involvement with senior citizens and the disabled
groups on the Gold Coast.
They have received several awards for their
contribution to the community. |
