This marina boardwalk has been constructed using DPR F17 150x50 deck boards.
The boards have been ACQ ( Ammoniacal Copper Quaternary ) treated to provide additional durability.
ACQ is a water-based wood preservative that prevents decay from fungi and insects.
The ACQ treatment dries to brown - yellowish colour.
The natural durable qualities of the hardwood with the added ACQ protection mean that the boardwalk will remain for many years to come.

The timber boardwalk is easy on the eye and easy on the feet after a day out on the water.

The boardwalk extends over 300m along the marina boundary.
Beautifully landscaped, the combination of rock, timber and steel give project a modern feel.
Being dressed, DPR has saved the builder many hours of preparation work thereby saving time and more importantly money.
Due to DPR's low shrinkage rate the boardwalk will remain safe from any unevenness.
